2018 Wedding Photography FAQS
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO YOU BOOK?
Wedding dates are usually confirmed around 12-16 months in advance, HOWEVER, you’re welcome to contact me at any time to check if your date is available.
WHAT’S THE PURPOSE OF THE CONSULTATION?
At the consultation I will answer all your questions but also make sure that we are the right fit for each other and share the same vision for your wedding day coverage.
CAN YOU OR SHOULD YOU BOOK AT THE CONSULTATION?
You can choose to secure your date at the time of the consultation. You can also secure your date before and after your consultation as well!
WHERE ARE CONSULTATIONS?
Most consultations take place in Burlingame. SKYPE consultations are available for those who are unable to make it to Burlingame. We can also chat to see if another location is better for you! Lastly, we can chat on the phone as another option!
HOW FAR DO YOU TRAVEL?
I love travel, but for now I will keep my wedding traveling confined to around 2-4 hours driving from the Bay Area Peninsula! SHOOTIE MC, I love your photos but I don't live in the peninsula/Bay Area! What are my options?! HMMMM, Lets chat!
CAN I HIRE THE SECOND SHOOTER FOR ONLY AN HOUR OR TWO?
Nope! The hired second shooter is a trained photographer, so when they accept a second shooting contract with us, they then turn away their own business from that point on so they do have a minimum fee associated with their services regardless of what the length of their stay is.
HOW LONG WILL THE SECOND SHOOTER STAY?
The second shooter will stay for the entire time that your package specifies. Occasionally, I will use my discretion towards the end of the night and allow the second shooter to leave if I feel they are no longer needed or adding extra value to the day depending on the size of the wedding, the complexity of the lighting setups during the reception and whether or not night portraits will be captured they may stay longer.
WILL YOU HAVE AN ASSISTANT?
Possibly! Usually this depends on the size of the wedding and will have no affect of the overall cost of your photography package!
HOW MANY PICTURES WILL I GET?
Yo u can expect 40-50 images per hour of active shooting. Keep in mind that the number of images is depending on how long we have for photos, the amount of details there are to capture, how willing your guests are to be photographed during candid moments, how many photographers are present, how versatile your photography location is and on the amount of travel time during the day.
WHAT IS YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?
Turnaround time is based on seasonal workload but a good estimate is 8 weeks for a wedding and 3-4 weeks for an engagement.
CAN I GET MY PHOTOS SOONER?
We do offer a “front of the line” service which will guarantee your images within 7 days from your engagement session is 14 days from your wedding. The fee is $300 for engagement photos and $1,500 for wedding photos and must be purchased at time of booking so the workload can be managed accordingly.
CAN I HAVE THE RAW FILES?
RAW files are not for sale; all clients receive high resolution JPEG images with personal print releases.
HOW MUCH IS THE DEPOSIT?
To hold your date, a 50% non-refundable retainer is required at the time of booking. The remaining 50% is due 1 week before the wedding.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept credit cards and checks. And puppies (JK, kinda?)
CAN I SAVE MONEY BY REMOVING THE ENGAGEMENT SESSION?
The engagement session, as stated in the package description, is genuinely complimentary. You can opt not to take advantage of the free session (but really, it’s FREE so why would you pass it up?) but there is no change in the cost of the package if you remove them.
DO YOU OFFER ELOPEMENT PACKAGES?

CAN WE GIVE YOU A LIST OF MUST-HAVE SHOTS?
We will always ask you for a list of must-have family shots before the wedding since it’s best to be organized with those. The rest of the photos will be documentary style and inspired and captured by ME! The artist (whoop whoop) that you chose to document your special day! One of my favorite parts of weddings is being able to capture SO MANY fun artistic beautiful shots! Each shot will be captured in the moment and inspired by the moment, not inspired by a photography of someone else's moment!
WE LIKE A LIGHTER STYLE, CAN YOU EDIT THE PHOTOS TO BE LIGHTER THAN WHAT WE SEE IN YOUR PORTFOLIO?
The editing style of your wedding photos will be similar to the photos in the MC Morgan Photography portfolio! If you do not like this editing style, no worries! I am happy to find you a photographer that matches your style!
What to expect after the wedding
Immediately after your wedding I will backup up your images. From there, the images are culled and the images selected for editing will then go through the editing process.Sneak peek images are showcased on our social media platforms usually within 1-2 weeks! You’ll be notified by email when they are up. If the schedule permits, we’ll post a blog article featuring additional highlights from your day as we work on uploading your entire wedding gallery. You’ll be notified via email when your entire wedding day gallery is complete. The online gallery will be password protected. Processing your entire gallery can take approximately 8 weeks but varies slightly due to seasonal workload.
I currently do not offer printing or album services; however, I will give you a list of top of the line printing companies!
